2018 Mazda CX-5 comes with new features including new safety technology

With a new suite of safety features either standard or optional on all trim levels and a improved powertrain, the 2018 Mazda CX-5 is a smart buy for anyone looking for a great SUV in the Merrillville area.

The 2018 Sport model now comes with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as well as a leather steering wheel and shift knob. In past years these features were only standard on the Touring and Grand Touring models. Mazda’s i-ActiveSense package with a front-collision system with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beams, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and lane-keep assist comes standard on the Touring and Grand Touring models and is an available option on the Sport models.

The Touring trim level gets standard 19-inch wheels, leatherette seats and keyless entry. A power driver’s seat and six-way power passenger seat now comes on the Grand Touring trim level.
